VVIVA Golf 2016IVA Golf Tournament Fundraiser

July 20, 2016

Well, it's that time again for some great golf and camaraderie.  Be sure to mark July 20, 2016 on your calendars! VIVA Hispanic Foundation, NW is hosting its annual Golf Fundraiser and you're invited to a day of fun and friendly competition. Information of this year's event is given on the attached documents. With last year's success, we continued to partner with Shoreline Community College by giving scholarships to deserving young students. We hope you'll join us to help make 2016 another successful fundraiser tournament.

This year we have changed the location of our tournament to the beautiful scenic course of Kayak Point Golf Course, located in Stanwood, WA.   Located in beautiful Snohomish County, 9 miles west of the City of Marysville, less than 1 hour north of Downtown Seattle and the Eastside and only 1 ½ hours from the Canadian border.  The course offers 260 acres of rolling forestland, wetlands and deep-set woods of alder, fir and cedar.  Kayak Point GC features large immaculately manicured greens and spectacular views. Water comes into play on only two holes. No homes or roads border the course and there are no parallel fairways.

Last year's winner, "Team VIVA", is hoping to defend its title and make it 'two in a row'!  Who's going to try to become the spoiler this year?   Please consider joining us for a great day of golf, supporting VIVA's mission of building strong communities by providing funding for programs aimed at empowering members of the Hispanic communities in the Northwest.
